Medical Coaches HDTV at 2008 Olympics in Beijing

8 men’s and women’s soccer teams from USA, China, Japan, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Korea and Honduras played 12 group soccer match for 10 days in August at Qinhuangdao City, co-host city of Olympic Games, 186 miles far from Beijing.
Guangdong TV Station (GDTV), 4th largest TV station in China covers area of 110 million residents in Guangdong Province dispatched 37 staffs to Qinhuangdao for covering live TV broadcast program with new arrival 16-camera HDTV outside broadcast trailer built by Medical Coaches, Inc. of Oneonta, NY in fall of 2007.
Beijing Olympic Broadcast Corp. (BOB), official broadcaster of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games evaluated the quality and performance of each live broadcast program everyday. All of 12 live broadcast program of soccer match produced by GDTV and launched to satellite were always on position No. 1 among 74 HDTV units from all over the world working at 6 Olympic host and co-host cities in the country. The high quality design and workmanship of trailer ensured the best performance of HDTV broadcast system, reliability of electrical system, and comfort of 22 operators on board under high temperature up to 88°F.
Guangdong TV’s first visit to Oneonta for HDTV trailer engineering meeting was interviewed and reported by us in Jan. 2007. With intensive and excellent job did by Medical Coaches experienced engineers and workers for 7 months, this HDTV trailer exported by Medical Coaches had become the largest and best HDTV trailer in China.
Guangzhou City of Guangdong Province will be the host city of 16th. Asian Games in 2010, this new HDTV trailer will be used as the main trailer to cover the opening ceremony and event in 2 years.
